Super friendly staff! We really enjoyed meeting the store owner and the young lady who checked us out gave us a great recommendation for visiting the wineries in Temecula. We spent a night at Ponte Winery, toured several wineries, and loved it. Personal recommendations are the best! We would visit Back To Cali again just to chat and swap stories.

This store was such a welcoming experience for me. My husband and I currently moved to San Diego from Jacksonville North Carolina. I was greeted with a warm welcome and the store had so many options to send to my family back at home. The owner of the store is a very humble guy. I would 10/10 recommend this place to all of my friends who come and visit me

cutest little souvenir store!! great selection of everything - clothing, the little things like magnets and key chains, beach type stuff. The people who work there are really nice and it's smack in the middle of downtown Carlsbad! Can get the holiday shopping for the WHOLE family in one spot and its in a nice shopping center with a local cafe and Starbucks and food n all. is the perfect Carlsbad go-to spot

From entry to my exit I had the most pleasant experience. The store was neat, clean, organized and gave numerous options for purchase. The staff personnel was the special highlight of my visit. She was professional, courteous and took ownership of my visit. I will be back!

We Love Back to Cali! It's a tradition for us to go there every year & it never disappoints! The owners are amazing and we've always been treated so well by their employees! Wheelchair accessible store with flat ground entrance and wide enough spaces inside. They have really nice hats, souvenirs, clothing, jewelry, cups, mugs, beach toys, cup holders/coasters, and so much more! There was a young woman working and she was very kind. I really appreciated that while walking through here, I never felt like the employees were watching me or looking at me like I was stealing, as so many other places do. I bought a few cute souvenirs for family in México.

Cute place to buy gifts and souvenirs to bring back home! Got 2 cute San Diego Coasters and a "Lifeguard" baby onsie. The man behind me bought playing cards with the California flag on them that were very cute as well. Relatively well priced. Definitely cheaper than the airport.
